Ive been on adsense for months now making an av of 10-12 cents per click...

and i was smartpriced a few weeks after i launched my sites...now it seems to of gotten out of hand....i get 3-5 cents per click...

whats going on? this just occured starting july17...

did anyone else notice a drop per click on july 17...i think its the advertising rates rather than smartpricing

During some periods I've gotten less than than 1 cent per click so you have not even hit rock bottom yet.

Also the recent landing page quality algo has forced many advertisers out of the Adwords system. This has removed many inexperienced advertisers. Those remaining are often the ones who will opt out of content ads.

All in all it is driving down adsense revenues.

Lots of info on this in the Adwords section.

Payouts seem to be slightly higher on my end, along with Adwords costs (higher than ever, actually).

Mine hqave been down since the 16th, which is the 17th in the continental US, so yes.

Same amount of IMP, higher clicks, higher CTR, higher ECPM, lower revenue.............

I'm having a good day today. Highest clicks in 6 weeks. Could be from implementing ad units embedded in content though.

Ash1, you say you have only been using AdSense for a few months. In reality it takes quite some time for one's AdSense revenues to stabilize out into a "normal" pattern or level. At first your revenues may have been artificially high, as AdSense collects enough performance data for your site and the performance of click throughs your site provides, it will adjust the PPC of ads displayed on your pages and the types of ads displayed on your pages. Just because one chooses to create a site around "high PPC" key words, one should not assume that they will realize those high PPCs.

In time if you are able to build up higher quality traffic and higher quality click throughs, you will start to realize higer PPC rates.

People shouldn't base at PPC rates or AdSense performance on a daily or weekly time frame. One needs to look at it from the perspective of months or years. If one takes the long term perspective and works to build up the quality of their site over the long run, one will realize much more satisfactory results. If you want instant gratification, buy lottery tickets.

My account was 1 year old...but been making >100 since feb..

so i think ive seen stabilized patterns, every month, my revenues are very very constant,, (in a range of less than or more than 1$)...and i have been avg clicks 10-15 cents for 7-8months

and all of sudden 1-5cents avg since july 17

    so something significant is up

Much more money per click since the 17th. It's so good, I check a little more than normal. I'm sorry you're not having the same luck at the moment. Twill change soon. Good luck

Hey CHEER up guys. there are always some positive aspect of everything.

First of all all of my content pages and site are showing better or as usual ECP. So Have patience in adsense. Second some of categories has increased the EPC. I am running a site related with Divorce and last few days it is out of sky.

Keep working and adopt the situation. Guerilla Never loose the war, they may loose the battle but war is always on.
