Most of religions told about there is life after death. Can you tell me your opinions about life after death? My question is do you believe there is life after death? If yes how If not how
What happens after you die is likely a lot like before you were born. Nothing, absolutely nothing. I didn't much mind it then and i doubt ill mind it later. It saddens me to see people wasting this life in the hope that they will get another. The truth is, reality is far more amazing and far more majestic that any of the myths made up by death cults. As it stands now every atom in your body, besides hydrogen, was created in the heart of a star billions of years ago. It has all come together, been put in the right place, by a genetic code which is the result of a long line of successful ancestors and it has created you. You get about 80-90 years of this (enjoy it) and then it all gets broken down again and will eventually go into making something else. Some may end up making proteins in a fly's brain, some may make a flower, some may even go into making another person millions of years from now, Maybe someone really great. Eventually, billions of years from now, the atoms which make up you will end up back in a star to fuel the fission and when fission occurs your atoms will lose a little mass, that mass will be converted into a photon, light, and you will be sent out into the universe at 186,000 miles per second maybe to travel until the end of time. Sure, you wont actually be around to see this, but isn't that far more amazing and far more satisfying than the idea of being forced to worship a giant man in the sky for eternity surrounded by born again christians?
Well i can't know for sure. Having certainty in the uncertain is the territory of the religious. But i guess it was only you who actually required that obvious fact spelled out to him. It must be frustrating to not only need to be walked through ideas but feel the need to publicly announce how much you need to be spoon fed.
Agreed. Hmm. I suppose the words truth and reality don't imply some certainty on your part Honesty! How refreshing! I can think of many of your posts where this particular quote should be added... it gives me an idea.
I'm certain about that part. Read some science books, I'd suggest the ones you should have read when you were 12.
So please, clarify this for me like I was a little child. Like you say, I'm slow on the uptake. Are you, or are you not certain there is life after death? A short answer without nuance would be best.
I can't be certain regarding life after death, But i am certain that the death cults are made up. Is that simple enough to get your head around, or are you going to ask the exact same question in a slightly different way again hoping to get a different answer? I do, however, think life after death is so unlikely that explicit disbelief in it is a reasonable conclusion... of course until some evidence is found to the contrary, none of which has so far been found.
I don't believe in any such thing... why? I don't see or feel any reason why I should believe in it... and I am not going to believe in it just bcoz it is written in some book.....
Ask for an answer without nuance, and this is what you provide. Why am I not surprised. "I'm not certain, but statistically, I think it is reasonable to state with some certainty". Typical fanatic.
It's just a small sentence, take your time and i'm sure you'll figure it out eventually... put it this way, i'm as certain regarding life after death as you are regarding the existence of fairies. You disbelieve fairies exist, right? < answer it.
I asked you if you believe they exist.. you either do or you don't. I'll try an even simpler form of the question, see if you can get your head around this collection of simple words written in plain English. Or more accurately, see if you can muster the courage to answer the simple question put to you. "i believe fairies exist" - Is that sentence a true or false representation regarding your view on the existence of fairies?
LOL. I guess you still haven't looked up the definition of Agnostic. The dictionary could be your friend man. I'm only trying to help.
"i believe fairies exist" - Is that sentence a true or false representation regarding your view on the existence of fairies?
That doesn't answer the question i asked you. "i believe fairies exist" - Is that sentence a true or false representation regarding your view on the existence of fairies?
