How do you feel about your SUMMARY feeds on other Websites?

As a blogger, how do feel about blogs that display summarized versions of your posts using your rss feed?

Do you think this will help increase your traffic, because it gives you another venue to publicize your post, which makes it a good thing?

    OR

Do you think that people will be satisfied with just the summary and never bother to click-though to your blog, which makes it a bad thing?

Note that if your feed is used to create summarized entries on another blog, then the post titles may be identical, thus creating another page with the same page title on search engines.

    Yes.

It seems like the basic point of having a feed.

True, but in this case the feed is used to create an entry on another blog that stays there forever, sharing the same title as YOUR post.

Given that your title will appear twice in the search engine results, would that still be good for your traffic?

Yes, if it gets picked up by a higher pr site and for some reason gets ranked above the original post, you're getting good linkage then, and most people will clickthrough if they're interested. If it's ranked below, then it doesn't matter.
