I hired someone to code a wordpress theme for me. He made it look great, that is, in Firefox. All other browsers look like a tornado went through my site. Check it out http://www.theconsumercoupons.com Does anyone have any input on what might be wrong. I'll pay $15 to get this sorted out right now.
I guess it depends on who you get, but I'd say its probably gona cost more than 15$ to get a cross-browser fix there. In Safari 4 its ok to some degree, some of the pages with shorter content has the footer coming up into the sidebar. I assume when you say tornado could be any one of the internet explorers (hate em, but least I make sure stuff looks alright in firefox, IE7/8 and Safari). Site seems ok in IE8 though has that one same problem as Safari, but in IE7 while it looks ok, seems to crash every page or so. I haven't checked IE6 (would rather IE6 would die). I'd imagine if any site has any cross browser issue to begin with it only gets worse the older the version of IE you go. If I had to make a wild guess... someone didn't clear their floats before going to the next row.
If you want to get it recoded, I would be interested however I would need the original PSD to work with. If possible, send me a preview of the original PSD so that I can have a look. I usually charge around 55 to 65 USD to code most WP themes. I guarantee compatibility with IE 6, 7, FF, Opera, Safari and Google Chrome (just to name a few). Regards.

Most of that appears to be not putting attributes in quotes, and use of the depreciated <center> tag.
