I heard many fellows say that Squidoo isn't as juicy as it was before. Perhaps true...but I'm starting out with no capital to invest. And I need to build some webpages that I could monetize. I think Squidoo still should serve well as a free mini-website. Now, I'm thinking...what would be the best way to build backlinks to my lenses? Any answer would be very appreciated. Hi thewanderingpen, I would suggest you to submit your lenses to social bookmark sites and leave do-follow blog comments on relevant blogs.
There are some directories for Squidoo Lenses, which would be good places start. Then look for other directories to submit your lens to. Also, get backlinks from social bookmarking sites, such as delicious.com. Be sure to get links from within Squidoo as well: join relevant groups and pick a dozen or so tags.
this means you are not getting any juice from Squidoo and spending timeto promote squidoo which prooves that squidoo can no longer index/promote its lenses
