How do you drive traffic to parked domains?

I have a parked domain on namedrive.
As I was not getting much through parking, I put a hyperlink to this domain
    on a blogspot blog.
Now I received a mail from namedrive.

    Hello Amit,

We noticed some strange traffic patterns in your account today. Traffic on domains parked with NameDrive
can originate from two sources only: type in (direct navigation) traffic and existing search engine results / expired
traffic. All other types of traffic including bought traffic, traffic driven by PPC campaigns and traffic directed from
hyperlinks are not permitted. Self-clicking is also strictly against our terms of service.
Do you know where the traffic is coming from?
If these patterns continue, we may have to suspend your account.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

    Best regards

    Paul

What should I do? Will they be able to find out that i have deliberately put the link?

In short, they might have already discovered.. they are just warning you. Just don't do anything that is against their TOS.

What do you mean what should you do ? REMOVE THE LINK ! As for your question, you don't drive traffic to parked domains, that's why you don't park names that don't get natural traffic.

hi, this topic is quite interesting - validity of traffic.

is that all these 3rd party parking company sedo, namdrive etc accept only natural traffic - type in or through search engines, disallowing traffic come from hyperlink?

I have checked google adsense for domain policies, i read that it as well disallow paid ad traffic, ppc traffic etc, but it never mention prohibit 'hyperlink traffic'.

is that simply justify google adsene for domain is better than all these parking company in terms of traffic permission?

Remove all the illegal link and traffic so that you'll meet the requirement set by namedrive.
In fact, they already found out that you have deliberately put the link.

Spending time on parking domain is worthless. Forget about domain parking and think any other business, because I have also faced such type of problems and the parking company did not paid my earning also.

Although I wish you luck, I have to agree that parking is horrible money. Especially if you don't have a "Blue Chip" domain.
Of course if you are just holding it until you find a buyer with no plans for ever developing it, then any money is better than nothing...but as part of a business plan or revenue stream..parking sucks.
