$20.00 Business Logo Contest!!!

$20 LOGO CONTEST!

I am looking for full rights of a logo. Post your example and I will paypal the winner $20 in exchange for the full rights to the original photo.

TERMS OF THE CONTEST:

- Website is called New Republic Marketing and caters toward internet marketing so the logo should appeal to IM
- Logo needs to fit with a black background
- I am open to your artists interpretations so anything creative, SIMPLE, and attention grabbing will be chosen. ​

My idea was to have a simple picture of plato (something like this: http://etc.usf.edu/clipart/1200/1247/Plato_1_lg.gif) with the title. This violates copyright laws though. Although I liked the simplistic Plato bust logo, I am VERY open to artists interpretations.

Would implementing your idea using an image (specifically this) that does not violate copyright laws count? (Obviously , it will be modified to look more like a logo.)
In such a case, the originality or modifications (in other words, the logo) is something you shall have rights to, while the picture used remains in the public domain.

ok i'm in the mood to draw... hope u'll like it... it will just be plain black and white... hope no one contradicts with what i will draw... so that u will not violate any copyrights... ok? hehe... just gonna go and have a try... i don't care if i win or not... (winning would be better ) anyway... i am just after what he don't want to violate... ok gonna do it within 1 hour... be back...

I just wanted to say I liked all of your guys' logos. You all really put a lot of work into it and I appreciate the effort.

The decision was tough and it came down close to the design above and collegerut's design. In the end I chose this design because it was simple and incorporated everything I wanted in my logo.

I will PM you so I can send you over $20 on paypal and get the logo's from you.
