Players in DD in great form. Especially Batsman's are in terrific mood...

 

Of course, they would have.....with SRK as their boss, he could easily rope in all his endorsed brands as the sponsors for his team as well...This year must have been fully sold out, even before the first ball was bowled.

With such dismal performance on the field though, the question is how they would be able convince these brands ...once again... next year?
You can fool people with your charm and charisma...once, may be twice..but not forever!

So the Deccan Chargers win a crucial game by 53 runs, Rajasthan would have been pleased with their performance in the first 15 overs when they bowled but the late onslaught from Smith took Deccan to a challenging score.
The move to bring in Chaminda Vaas worked, as he contributed with the bat before taking two crucial early wickets. RP Singh was on-song as well, and Symonds chipped in with some quick runs and tight seam-up bowling. The win helps Deccan leapfrog Rajasthan in the table, they are now in third while Rajasthan slip to fourth.

I too wish the same..... After CSK, i support Kings XI only.... just for my favorite batsman yuvi...

 

I support Yuvraj as well....It is just so much elegance at display when he is batting in full flow...But I suppose, it is the case with all left-handed batsmen.

It would be a close fight in the end, between RR and Kings XI for the fourth place..I guess

Today we are gonna see one more important match regarding the race of semis. Mumbai vs Punjab,

The scramble for the semi-final spots picks up pace with the Kings XI Punjab and Mumbai Indians, ranked fifth and sixth respectively, taking on each other at Centurion. It's come down to a battle between seven teams, with Kolkata ruled out of the competition, which has entered the business end. Any slip ups here will effect their chances of qualifying.

For Mumbai, it's very essential they continue the momentum because they have a game each against Delhi and Chennai, the top two teams in the competition. They made refreshing progress with their batting in their previous game but they will have to summon up some consistency in their forthcoming games.

A victory for Punjab will push them up to No.4 but a defeat will see them slip one notch below. They too have tough opposition coming up so staying afloat will be a challenge. They still haven't figured out their strongest line-up, going by the number of changes in the batting. It's time though for the experimentation to end.
