Does original template improve adsense earnings?

In a blogger's blog does it pay to have your own template than the ones Blooger offers? Pl check my blog www.orangerays.blogspot.com and give your suggestions.

adsense earning depends on your contents and ads proper placements.

I prefer using blogger.com monitize option to add my ads on every pages

 

You cannot choose your channels that way though, something that needs to be added

 

I will tell you a secret. Some of my most embarrassing websites are also my best earners. I have a feeling that people don't want to be sold to and if you look like you are an amateur, people are more likely to click on your ads. My slickest website with nice graphics and photos is my lowest earner.

original template is good but make sure you have put your ads in the right position to earn from it..

 

I don't know how far the original template will contribute to increased adsense earnings but a neat design, well placed adsense ads, good and unique contents along with targeted traffic will work wonders.

 

If your original templete can optimize better than blogspot, then it will helps to increase your CTR. However, it can be worse if you are not doing great job on your own template. Try out and compare the result, you cant get the data to show it is better or not without trying, that's what i always say
