    I didn't check my affiliate account for a while. But I can't access Genbucks.com at the moment, what happened?

    They are down for more than 4 months I think. Latest news are, that they will be up soon, but with different name. I didn't have anything in my account at the time they closed, but people report, that they have received the money they had in their accounts.

    Why do affiliate networks pop up like mushrooms and die just as fast? it really boggles the mind whenever someone is trying to sign up for a network.

    Because employees leave networks all the time and think it would be easy to start their own network. The reality is, they find out its not as easy as they think. This industry is hard to start from the ground up because you are competing against companies who have solid traffic bases that can always beat newcomers on payouts. There are always some exceptions out there, but a majority of these fly by night networks are simply former employees or GM's of other networks.
