Does Auto Bidding do anything else?

    Hello ppl :)

    I have a few questions.

Does automatic bidding do anything other than change the bid?

Is it necessary to put in both keywords with and without small words in them? (bake cake, bake a cake) for example.

"Does automatic bidding do anything other than change the bid?" -don't know, I do mine manually as there's too many factors to take into consideration form my point of view

"Is it necessary to put in both keywords with and without small words in them? (bake cake, bake a cake) for example." - depends, if you use broad match then no, if you use exact match then yes. Word of warning though, broad will also have you appearing on loads of other phrases, some of which you may not want to be found under, so make sure you keep an eye out for negatives

    Thanks Jhardy. :)

Does anyone else know exactly what automatic bidding does?

Despite all the rage against broad match, I'm quite happy with it. There are lots of clicks I'd never get without it, and the irrelevant/stupid clicks are minimal. :) (I'm rapidly culling this number, with negative keywords though.)

Are you sure that bake a cake is going to be exactly the same as bake cake? Will an exact match rank higher than a broad match, if someone searches for "bake a cake"?

    1) Please do "Manual Bidding" and avoid Auto bidding at any cost. If you set auto bidding on, you lose control over your bids.

    2) Yes, an exact match rank higher than a broad match, if someone searches for "bake a cake".

    3) No, bake a cake is not the same as bake cake
