Hello all, I am in need of stock image quick for an artwork... Where is the cheapest one to go? Free ones doesnt seem to satisfy my client. Thanks!
Have you looked at http://www.sxc.hu/ ? They have some excellent free images there. Just tell your client that they're the most expensive stock images available Some of us are photographers/stock contributors, so you're basically stealing from us. Nice.
I usually take my own pictures. But if your in need of a specialized picture, on a certain topic, go to this picture forum and post a request - http://www.digitalpictureforum.com/ Most photographers have tens of thousands of stock pictures. Sometimes all you have to do is ask in the right places.
i get my stock from sxc but stockxpert seems too expensive for me. will check out fotolia. thanks a lot for the input guys!
Well, generally DeviantArt is a great resource, there are some artists specialised in providing stock images... even if they are most concerned on human models, it depends on what you need but you can still do a quick research there Generally all works are meant for non professional use but you can contact the artist and ask him/her
i also use bigstockphotos.com they lisence is more flexible. They even allow image usage for web templates
deviantart has been good but i need the image for large size billboard prints and i didnt relize choosing one can be that hard to think they cost around $20..
