I think there's more serious proof than that. Record high temperatures this summer will continue as we get closer to the point of no return.

That's not proof of global warming, it's proof of a fabric crisis. Fabric is a non-renewable source of clothing you know ;).

Do you know that one of the effects of the warming of the Earth is that it will get colder in Europe?

Here in northern Ireland (UK) we are currently getting days at 30 degrees and at night its around 20 degrees and now you dont need a blanket over you at night!! Its really shocking how much global warming is going on!

If there was global warming the result of the melting glaciers would result in the Atlantic Ocean slowing down the jet stream which delivers warm air to Northern Europe and result in colder temperatures. The fact that you're experiencing 30 degrees nights shows there is no global warming, just a warmer globe.;)

Personally I think this is just a natural cycle.

You guys are lucky, over here in London the underground system doesn't have air-con. A newspaper too a measurement yesterday and it came out at 52 oC. Apparently it's high enough to actually cook someones brain if they're exposed to it for a long enough period!

Matt dont even get me started on the tube and the heat its nasty man. Its boiling hot and people keep getting onto the crowded carriages. I use the central line and trust me after my 15 min journey i dont need a sauna at the gym, lol.

This morning i heard over the loud speaker "Due to the heat we recomment you carry a bottle of water with you when travelling on the underground" whats the point if i cant lift my hand to my mouth cos its so crowded!!!!!!

    AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I was on the central line yesterday, I saw one woman pass out and a couple more people had to ask to sit down as they thought they would too.

I usually get the district line, which isn't as crowded but seems to stop every five minutes. I never thought I'd be praying for rain!
