Hi all, I have reached my following limit on twitter. What methods do you use to gain more followers? DO NOT try and sell me crap, im interested in genuine free ideas
Are you following high-quality people? If so, they will reciprocate and will begin following you back. Also, you need to make sure you're sending out quality tweets. If all your tweets are spammy or self-promotion, everyone's going to drop you quickly.
The only real way of getting "quality" followers is to add a "follow me" link/badge/image in your website/public profiles and let them follow you on their own. There is no trick to it. Some people might follow you back once you add them but this doesn't make them "quality followers".
Ya, high quality tweets which give out "information"...this will not only help you retain the followers but also get new ones by retweeting.
There is some sort of a ratio as to how many ppl you follow and how many ppl follow you and thts how it is decided.
I didn't know that twitter has a limit number for those we can follow. In order to gain more followers, you can follow as many quality members as you can. Usually, they follow you back. That is, if your limit level is removed.
I think that when you get around 2000 people that you are following, thats when the hassles begin esp if you dont have many followers.

You can use different methods. Follow other users with are in your niche...(most follow you back)(After you hit the limit wait some days and unfollow all that didn't follow you and also stop following users that don't have a avatar. Talk with them "@name How are you?" Twitt something good "Brand new Mercedes here.." Write some articles about twitter to get fresh followers (post them on forums for example) Have a twitter button every where, and a "twitt this" on your blog Set up your twitter account to look good and a sexy avatar is just a win. (Girl on the net effect) Bio: They should think that you are worth a follow. New: twitt about the trending topics to get some more traffic to your page
Wait 7 days, unfollow all the people who aren't following you, then follow people who are following other people in the same niche as you.
What is this 'quality members will follow you back' nonsense? People will follow you back if you're quality - the sort of people that automatically follow everyone back are the opposite of 'quality' - they probably don't read the people they follow.
If we both started a new twitter account, spend 1 hour on it for 5 days, the methods I use would mean I would receive 1. More followers. 2. Better results from twitter. Explain how that is nonsense?
hashtag use help you gain more follower and additionally i have put my twitter badge on all of my blogs that helps me pick up new followers on daily basis!
Just be interesting, don't spam and don't try any of that reciprocal following crap, it's just a waste of time.
Use hummingbird with crack. I get about 200 followers a day. I follow 1000 tweeple a day. You can unfollow people who don't follow people too. I'm not trying to sell you anything, it's free with the crack.
