My site just got back its traffic last April 16.. It was hit by Google Dance last March 30-April 15.. Today my traffic drops to 25% again and very few are now going to my site for more than 7hrs now.. see how my traffic drops here http://www.sitemeter.com/?a=stats&s=s46spaghett1&r=3 from my site http://www.botsnhacks.com

Am I the only one experiencing this right now? I hope my site traffic come back again as soon as possible..:(

Same here. :) One of my site got fluctuated in ranking since the beginning of March and just got back on April 01, 2009. Then next 8 days the ranking started flcutuate again until now but my site got sitelinks. This could mean the dance is still not finished and something big is going on with some sites. Only a few sites got effected and most of them has something to do with a sitelink or some authoritative status changed.

I just checked your site and found your site has sitelinks while only has 9 backlinks according to Google and only 3 months old. :) Your site may be either new or status changed due to sitelink appeared. You have to wait and see. The sitelinks does mean something because not everysite has their own sitelink appeared when do search for their own names. Hope this help.

Sometimes these are just one of those things beyond your control. Happened to me as well, so basically you just have to learn and live with it. Keep on building the site until it achieve authority status...

serps being inherently dynamic in nature, ups and downs is a part of it. Your competitors have probably got better of you this time but with little more extra push, I am sure you can regain your position!

There was Google dance activity in March 2009 when Google updated its toolbar Pagerank. However now it is more or less stabilized. You may see some fluctuations depending on which Google data center is being used while you are querying Google. Google updates its ranking almost every day so it is certain that you will see some fluctuations

Guess Google has different SERP filters to take turns.

You will have to work harder and get more backlinks to your website then.

Don't give your competitor a reason to outrank you!

I experience google dance all the time, just need to keep on building quality backlinks, and contents. Control what you can, and leave the rest to Big G

My site saw a decline in traffic by around 20-30%. Not sure if t due to Google dance. maybe cause I did not update it for about 2 days.

The site was 1 year and 2months old.. It was previously under blogger.com (http://www.botsnhacks.blogspot.com) and last January 2009 I bought a customized domain (botsnhacks.com) but I use the domain only last March before Google Update its PR.. Now I think customizing the domain of a blogspot site is not a good move :(

this happens so regularly and usually just before or just after a PR update. The last PR update was around 28th April so that might possibly be part of the reason. Also SEO is a dynamic changing feature so not matter how hard you have been working on your SEO and building backlinks your competitors may have been working even harder.

yea I had a site that used to be #1, low and behold it disappeared and started appearing every now and then. I decided then and there I wouldn't depend on Google solely for traffic. Time to differentiate, branch out a bit and get some good traffic buy it, get ads, etc. There's more way to traffic than just Google's serps.
