Hi, It may be a stupid question to you, but I would like to know whether Google will somehow turn down or publish a poker/gambling/casino site? Does Google reluctant to assign a PR to it? Thanks in advance.
Google will never automatically punish a website because of its theme. This raises legal issues related to free speech. I do think Google is a little more strict with shady niches. They likely have larger teams working on quality control of niches like gambling. So you may have to be more careful in those niches. Assigning PR is an automated process. To get PR you just need enough pr backlinks before a mass pr update. If you can't get PR you may have been penalized for something spammy you may have done.
No...I don't see any reason why they want to do that since there are people who are interested in different niche and doing that will send a message saying that the search engine is not user-friendly.
Google will index this type of site, the only thing that would be affected by it is your ability to host adsense adverts which do not permit gambling sites. Just make sure that you get backlinks from sites with a similar theme to your own i.e gambling.
They wont punish you. However it will also be easy to get you de indexed. You cant get adsense ads up. Might as well try adbrite
I doubt it. Google rarely interferes with the "natural" order of ranking by their famous algorithm. Mainly, if done, it is done to "protect" the users from spam or fake listings. Google generally will update the algo to deal with the bad apples, the rest will, usually, not be touched manually. Google with index ur pr and does not punish your site, However, Just dont use adsense to host ads on that site, you may be getting banned from adsense if you do it..
Why would google ban a gmabling site? Google accept every site wheter its adult, gambling etc... They can punish your site if you have a lot of duplicate content and stuff like that lol
well somebody sayed that "prevention is better than cure" so dont fall in tension by using gambling sites on adsense rather than facing problems,isnt it?
I don't think there is any issue with the Gambling/Casino sites. I have seen and worked on a few PR4+ Online Casino sites.
No, google does not have any problems with gambling, but optimizing for such sites requires different approaches, that's it.
I don't think they penalize for that but as google is known for their "changing policies" you never know what will happen and as far as adsense is concerned then its better not to put on gambling website.
