I just checked and found some strange is going on with Google. Many of my inner pages that I put quality link into it has no PR and yet no backlinks according to Google while many pages that I never done link building got PR and link popularity, plus being shown as my sitelinks too. I have checked again with Google webmaster tool and found the same. They do not show any links of some inner page, which is should have. What's going on there? I think Google algo might make a big shift again. What do you guy thinks?
It is impossible to predict what Google will and won't index. It could be that you have been building too many links to other pages and Google has penalised you for it (don't worry) but that they will show up at a later point. Also just remember that the sitelink tool isn't always accurate and may not show all the pages that have been indexed, it's just meant to provide a snap shot. The best thing you can do is forget about it and carry on building backlinks to your site and adding quality content and the visitors will come trust me.
Google has really been yanking my chain latetly. I have no SEO experience before you all laugh at me! I had my pag up to the bottom link on the 1st page. I did some SEO, (I know, I actually tried!) and I went down to the bottom of the second page. I really have no idea what's going on... Maybe I should read around here a bit more
It takes time for google to index links. Do not worry about PR . it does not matter unless you try to sell to a newbie who thinks that PR is king and SERP is minister followings kings orders
What SEO did you carry out? be careful to moniter everything you do so you know what works and what doesn't work.
Obviously you are not the first. When I found some inner pages have high ranking and decided to build backlinks for it, the pages actually lost the search position after the next update. Trying to figure out myself when I expect some strong backlinks pointing to it was supposed to help.
