Looking to start up a new forum... - niche is everything?

Probablly be in vBulletin, the niche would be errm.. everything?
The whole site will be off topic on everything, so the topic forums would be like... games/movies/music/drugs/sex/life/cars/webmaster/jobs etc...

Does this sound stupid?

I also started a forum (Blogger forum) yesterday

 

Which is most normal... I hate having to focus on age group - certain audiance.

Are there any big sites out there that are just misc.? Random off topic chat forums
