I hate how I have to post 25 times to post a thread in the sell a site section. This should be changed.
The reason it is in place (I'm assuming) is so that members can't just register and start scamming people with the crap you see in other forums. Believe me 25 posts is not that much. And if you are going to sell something to a community, is it too much to ask to find out a little about it and participate? Skinny
Oh, sorry. Well I guess there is that fear. If you are real eager to buy something can't you PM the member and then discuss the details of the sale? Skinny
You can buy now, I believe. You just can't start thread in buy, sell, and trade. If someone posts something you wish to buy you can respond.
And why is that Devin? Without people doing transactions people on these sites wouldn't be able to make a living. Transactions make the world go round.
1. Contribute to the forum at large. 2. Gain personally Not the other way around. 25 Quality posts isn't that much, I've got 9.5K!
You should be able to PM or reply to users, along with using the iTrader function and reputation feature. That should be good enough for you to buy...and I believe you have enough posts anyway to make the reply or a new thread.
It is just one of the ways to prevent Spamming. If that will be removed, here, people will start joining just to post 1 thread advertising his/her website or services and as it is DP recieves so many spammers daily, this will just add it on. I had a forum and i saw how so many people just joined and made 1 post in buy sell or trade section and left. So, just 14 days and 25 posts and a green reputation, and you can buy anything and I am sure DP is a place which you will never want to leave. So be a good boy now. BTW, Time is money! So relax and earn money for 14 days
I was going to give you the benefit of the doubt, and assume when you did that you did not just spam crap.. but the posts in this thread are your best work. Most of your posts are non-contributory one-liners that are clearly designed to circumvent the posting requirement. I am pretty sure that is against the rules.
