Reliable Web Hosts?

    I am looking to change web hosts soon. Are there any reliable web hosts available that are trusted and that people have had good experience with? Looking at around $5-7 / month for basic hosting. Maybe more if it's really worth it!

    Bluehost isn't reliable :p

    Hostgator = major overselling.

    Ensure the host has been running for a few years otherwise you will be changing hosts like a monkey in a tree.

    Bluehost has servers with loads of up to 50, that surely is not reliable... (check their forum if you don't believe me)
    Hostgator is overselling, that is a fact, no webhost can provide 1 TB space on a shared account...
    To find a reliable host just check their prices and how long they've been in buisness, if a host offers 50 GB space for $20/year there is something fishy!

    Hi,

    What is your definition of reliable?

    Mine would require at least N-1 redundancy with each server located in a different data-center.

    Something between $5-7/mo is what I would call budget hosting and not something I'd recommend for something that would have to be up 24/7.

    Check out my signature links. JaguarPC. The best host that I have been with in the past 10 years after trying all of them. Better than hostgator, bluehost, 1and1, dreamhost etc etc etc.

    I've used a lot of hosts until I found the one in my signature, he's by far the best I've used. Me and my site visitors are glad I found him.
