Blog Question for you SEO pimps

    Hello,

    I am wanting to start a blog for my website. I was wondering if I should have blog.mywebsite.com, or mywebsite.com/blog?

    Does it matter?, What I really would like to know if I use blog.mywebsite.com if Google will treat it like a seperate website, vs mywebsite.com/blog

    What do you think is better for SEO purposes?

    i think both are the same, altho' i will go with /blog for better structure link value to pass to the main site.

    subfolder method is conventional way whilst subdomain is current trend as most people are using today. However for SEO wise, there is no different betwen subdomain and subfolder method.

    /blog is better because blog.site will be considered as another site (subdomain)
    Also this is good in terms of SEO.
