Seo Spyglass vs. Seo Elite

I searched these forums and I haven't found a thread specially dedicated to Seo Spyglass vs Seo Elite. My questions is which software have you had best results with? I am looking to track my competitors backlinks and my own more efficiently with different reports and tools.

Can't wait to see which you guys think is better, and also don't say do it manually!

 

Personally, I have used both extensively and they both have excellent attributes. But I opt for SEO Elite for just edging out Spyglass.

 

Yeah they both seem great, for SEO Elite, just wondering do you have to pay a monthly price?

 

I haven't used seo spyglass, but I have had seo elite for years and I still use it on a regular basis. It is very useful software. I highly recommend it. I believe they just charge a flat price of around $47 for seo elite. Back when I bought it over 3 years ago, I paid $172 and even at that price it was well worthwhile.

 

Ok cool, when I was on the buy page it said recurring fee $47 every month so i was like "WTF Mate!?!". I think I am going to go with SEO Elite.

Just a side note on SEO Elite, I got it less than $10 bucks because they gave it free when I purchased the PPC DVD from Anik few months back. ;p

 

SEO Elite works great especially in analyzing competitors. It's affordable and very easy to use. I don't have any experience using SEO Spyglass, though.

 

I have used both SEO Elite AND SEO Spyglass, but the software I use and recommend over them both is called Web Comp Analyzer. It's very fast and extremely accurate (I have had lots of problems with SEO Elite being accurate) and it's much more affordable. I got my copy at http://www.WebCompAnalyzer.com

After using WCA I think SEO Elite and SEO Spyglass are WAY overpriced.

 

just couldn't bring myself to try seoelite...the site looks so spammy it put me off. If they cannot make a nice site, how can they make good software. Just signed up to seomoz for a try of linkscape. so far seems pretty good.

would you do me a couple of reports to compare - wanna see how many backlinks they show. linkscape gives you them link juice order..do these?
