    Hey guys,

I am wondering if anyone has any experience or any knowledge of where and how to promote your site, for free and actually get some turn around and gain some traffic from doing so?

Currently I am advertising my sites in my forum signatures and promoting the site for reviews for two reasons, to make sure I am improving on everything I can, and it also may help spread the word.

Now currently I am getting about 20 hits a day, but it isn't growing at all, staying pretty well steady on average around 20 hits a day.. any suggestions on where/how to promote and get some positive results?

    Thanks!

write some blogs on wordpress. So that you can keep your eyes on the trackbacks. That how many persons visits your site and how many click are their on your website. Also try Twitternetmarketing.com

Don't waste your time on linkreferral.com as they'll bring you traffic which is not relevant and the only reason people visit your site is to get their own webistes higher.
    Waste of time.

Yes, I have experience on promoting my site for free. My niche is video blogging on video sites such as youtube, break, metacafe, dailymotion, yahoo video, vimeo, veoh,,, just to name a few. On average my videos are viewed around 15,000 time daily on youtube alone.

I started posting videos in April of 2007. In the past 25 months I have uploaded over 320 video to youtube. These are my videos that I made, and not some that I recorded off TV.

At one time, youtube sent my site as much traffic as Yahoo. But now its between 8,000 - 11,000 uniques a month. This traffic has bounce rate of 18%. While google generic search traffic has a bounce rate of 48%. This provides my site with a steady stream of targeted traffic.

I use forum signatures. Not really sure how much traffic it actually brings but it helps with backlinks. Good luck
