It's posts like these that remind me why it is good to take 4 days off from DP. Nothing useful in 4 days. Yikes....

    Elvis has left the building.

So has the brains of most on both sides of this debate.

 What are we debating here?

Dude, it's simple. PageRank is simply a function of how many links there are that are pointing to a page, each one of those links weighted by how many links are pointing to each one of them in turn. It has nothing to do with relevance, BUT... links from higher PR pages will still give you more of a boost in the serps than links from lower PR pages! I don't see why you think it's not the case!

Seriously, you're starting to sound like those damn Republicans over in the P&R forum with the type of argument you are using. I actually thought I was in the wrong thread for a while there.

O.K. Now i'm clear on it. I thought we were supposed to be talking about Elvis, but was not sure on how it connected to PageRank and Bushism's.

A very valuable thread here. I should give some green rep to the dude who started it.

"Is and idiot" compared to whom?

I think your sentence structure and grammar, or lack there of, makes your point.

Wow. I am completely amazed. I would not have believed that there was a single human being on the Internet who could be so ignorant as to not know that "The King" refers to Elvis Presley.

I thought that I was culturally illiterate, when it comes to modern culture. I am truly amazed at how some people can make it through life without ever appearing to learn anything.

Could we sticky this thread? I believe it serves as a fine reminder as to how a liberal mind works.

I third it, though Im more interested in it being a reminder of how not to be so stupid. There are many intellegent liberals, guru-seo is just not one of them by the looks of things

Parents, if you see your kids behaving like this, smack them. It's best to stop this sort of irrational behaviour as soon as it appears :p

Key word being "works". They think for themselves, though you may disagree, while the republicans blindly quote "that there" FOX network and don't have to do any work. :D

Yes it does, it shows that the author can't spell. Must have gotten his quote from that there FOX News Network? :/

I can see the beef with CBS, false reporting. I can't see the beef with news papers that show a common perception of the US through the world's eyes.

I don't care how much you right wing nuts hug each other and say it's ok. The truth is, it's not OK and we, the US, look like morons to the rest of the world. Our respect is gone.

We have openly proven to the world that this president and his adminstration cannot even take care of it's own citizens. The examples being Katrina and now the failure to save US citizens in Lebanon. (reported on FOX news)

Why would any country in the world trust us with other citizens when we can't take care of our own?

While you go get your answer from that there FOX news agency, I'm going to the ammo store for more bullets, shells, and cartridges. I hope the gun grabbers didn't get your's yet, because you WILL need it soon to protect yourself. The US military is spread too thin to help it's own citizens.

God bless america, where ever you are.

I don't see that, I actually see the world realizing that there is a danger coming from the Middle East, which they have until recently closed their eyes to.

And what part of the world negotiations would imply that? What resolutions have materialized by the the rest of the world to support that great realization?
The part where no one is doing anything about it?

    You can't be serious, right?
