Well it wasn't great performance, referee played the part as he not given penalty for two hand balls in second half. Also all you know that Barcelona will go to Rome without their two key defenders who picked cards yesterday!

It wasnt a great performace , agreed. But didnt Henry deserve a penalty in the first leg and Ballack also deserved a read card last week.So its pretty even. Also red to Abidal was a shocker.

Abidal came instead of Puyol who will be back.So not a prob.Only Alves will be missed.

But Barca have enough bench strength to ope with any team. :)

No , it wont be a struggle as now the match will be at a neutral venue.Manchester is a great team , but Barca will do the treble this season.

Henry will be fit till the finals. So no need to worry..:)

i think barca will appeal the decision to UEFA and could be in their favor, just like MANU did for Fletcher (which was denied)

Well I too agree with you that Alves is key player and I too miss him as I love to watch him in action. Also yesterday I really miss Henry. I am sure who ever lift trophy we will see one of the best final as both team will play attacking football!

a thriller i wld say. Look at the reaction of Drogba afetr the match. And you shld have looked at the reactions of commentators after that. Fuious over Chelsea performance, esp --Drogba (his limping on was the reason for 7 extra minutes). Everybody blamed Drogba and john terry stand of playing him . Poor passing and poor ball possesion was the reason. Barca gave their all instead of being down to 10. Cheers to them. Looks like a great final Ahead

Your fav team in the finals and my fav team also..:D

So lets just enjoy this moment :) rather than thrashing each other :p

No use of appealing. Its very rare that decisions are reverted. And when fletcher's was denied then no chance of abidal's decision being reverted.

No men, You can see my posts on Manu thread that after Manu, Barcelona is my favourite team just because of Alves and Iniesta, both are excellent players for me I rated them better then others.:)

    That is incorrect.

Puyol normally plays in the centre, while Abidal plays on the left. Guardiola chose Toure to replace Puyol.

With Abidal and Alves both out, we'll probably see Sylvinho/Caceres on the left.

Henry should be back, and that will allow Iniesta to play in a central role alongside Xavi. Tight contest, but on current form, I'd have to back United.

Yes Barcelona will go to Rome with out two Full back and fact that Manchester United use those flank to attack on team and it would be great contest! I am sure Paul and Micheal would be key for United to hold Barcelona. I wouldn't surprise if Alex use Anderson instead of Paul.:)

They did it and on Monday we get to know that weather Fletcher will play or not in Final on 27th May.:) If he plays then it would be good for Manchester United and we will be first team to defend UCL Title.:)

Its highly unlikely that the decision will be reverted.

It was good to see Chelsea and Arsenal lose :D The reaction of Ballack and Drogba was hilarious, but in my opinion if UEFA don't look at the Fletcher incident and allow an appeal then they should not punish Ballack and Drogba if they did not get punished in the game.

They can't have it both ways.

did you see how many easy goals Drogba missed in 1st and 2nd leg. Had he scored those goals, chelsea wouldnt be in this situation.

Yes and most important thing is he wasted time too in second hald which allow Barcelona to score goal right on depth time! He surly punished!

wow looks like only senior DP users here :p

actually i think that the referee of Chelsea - Barca was too harsh, for both teams.. Abidal's sent off was wrong at all, and there are at least 3 90% penalty for chelsea.. It looks like the referee wants to "apologize" to Barca after the Abidal's red card, by ignoring many penalty appeals for chelsea...

But I do think this is the best result, the final between two greatest team in europe.. I don't quite like to watch a "repeat" match between man u and chelsea like last year... This is the ideal final, I think

Watching Chelsea bores me to tears, the same with Everton. I am definitely going to give that FA cup final a miss. It will end up 1-0 or end up on penalties.
