How much traffic do you need before Adsense makes sence?

I have a small site that i started recently, Its gradually increasing in SERPs but currently the traffic isn't that much. At what point does it make sence to start Adsense on your website? How much traffic do i need?

 

I would start it right away

 

traffic doesn't matter as long as you are offering a good service, or content

I agree with Nacho. I also have sites that receive less visitors that yours is, and I am making money off of them. So you CAN make money with Adsense with 2k visitors.

 

It cant really hurt to put the ads up now. Worst thing that happens is you dont make any money which is the same as if you never put them up. But at least you have the chance to make some money

 

Definitely put your adsense code on the site now. It costs you nothing to do so and can help offset any startup advertising costs. You are only leaving money on the table if it is not there now....

 

It all depends on your content and the targeted nature of your traffic. I had 1,300 visitors the other day and didn't make anything worth mentioning, but my traffic wasn't that targetted. Remember, there's a difference between traffic and good traffic.

 

Yes I think a smaller, more compact traffic would earn much more than the ones with quantity, low quality.

 

If you have a good combination of the following you dont need high traffic to make money from adsense.
- good enough content to keep people on your site
- good ad placement
- high paying keywords
- the traffic you do get needs to be targeted

my site need 1000 visitor to get 10 $ a day....

 

Yes, on some days 1000 visitors gets me around $10. However on other days the same amount of visitors sometimes brings in $15-$20.

 

The best reason to add AdSense now is that, once you start seeing the revenue coming in, your motivation will increase enormously.

 

Thanks for all your posts, i will defenelty put them up, just to clear up its only 1000 visitors /month at the moment, but all trageted from search engines and directories

 

Conversely, if you do not see any income, it could take the life out of any motivation you have.

 

Even with 1 user a day, if the person clicks 50% of the time, it's still around 2 cents a day, no?

 

I seem to have hight paying adds on my page 0.75 - 7$ per click, i understand i recieve 70% of that? is that correct?

 

Finally somneone alludes to CTR. This, not traffic, is the key to making money with Adsense. So, work on improving CTR and you make more dollars.

 

It most depends on the quality & audience of your site. You should have original & interesting content that no one has it
