$50 Creative Cool Logo Contest, Winner announced on May 12th

    This is the cool site I need the logo for.

    Looking for something very trendy, hip, modern, web 2.0

    Open on colors schemes but make sure it works with the present color scheme on the site.

    Use any variation i.e. "Cool Things", "CoolThings" or "coolthings.com"

    I'll give feedback frequently to help guide people in the right direction.

    Your not guiding anyone in the right direction with the feedback your giving at the moment. What exactly do you want? Posting samples of logos you like is a good step to take.

    I don't like to give examples because I want to see what people come up on their own.
    I have had pretty good results on the DP in the past without giving any examples.

    @Neonic - I like where you are going with it. I like the hand gesture. But both hand and text need refining.
    @stardesigns - I can understand what your doing with glasses and its cool but spelling wise, its going to be a little confusing. I am not diggin the smiley though.
    @tdesigns - Looks like you also had same idea as stardesigns. Its okay but not that exciting.

    www.coolthings.com is an incredibly good domain name.
    potentially very valuable .com name.

    on top of the logo you need a custom website design etc.

    just wanted to comment on how valuable the domain name is.
