Actualy one month ago, i had optimized my site with his targeted keywords. And then got our all keywords ranking in betweenn 200n results of google. Keywords are very competitve and i am happy with that initial improvement.

After some time when i re-analized the site i found that my left meenu which is non redable for google. Then with the help of our developer i had creted it as normal html coding, and now the menu is redable for the serach engine crawler.

But now our ranking is back out of 500.....

I am shocked with this. So here please let me know it is normal or any thing wrong happen in my site.

Waiting for you kind suggetion which help me to get ranking improved soon.

when you make major structural change on your site, you expect some ranking flactuation. i would not worry too much about the current drop in ranking as with some link building, you should get back to where you were.

When I did big changes to my homepage, I was out of search listings at all. Later I appeared on 8th page. And soon on 1st page. So now, I atleast know that big changes may cause such things. Before I was worried as you are. I hope it is similar with that what happened with my site. Good luck getting positions back ;),

That statement is right on the money.

Besides the changes to the site, there are several other factors that need to be considered - such as the age of the site, pagerank, are you submitting a sitemap to your google webmaster tools,,,,,

My opinion - if you have a site that is 2 or 3 months old, and you make some big changes to the site, google is probably going to knock you way back in the search engine results pages (SERPs). Even if your site is 1 - 2 years old, I would expect google to knock your site back in the SERPs.

But if a site like Yahoo News, CNN, BBC, or wikipedia makes some changes, google might hardly notice them. This is because those sites are an authority, have been around for years and have a high pagerank.

If your site gets indexed a lot and is very popular you could probably get away with making some big changes but if your site doesn't get indexed by google very much, a big change can hurt you unless it is better for the long run which is what you are trying to do right?

It should go back, just keep building links and you should be fine.

When you are at around rank 200, expect a lot of fluctuations. Even when you are on 2nd/3rd page you can see rankings go up / down very frequently, just keep building backlinks and fix your onsite SEO as soon as possible and you should keep climbing in SERPs.
