How do I put two 250x250 Adsense ads side by side, in my Wordpress theme right below the title of a post in the first fold?

Somebody told me to do a float right and left .

    "So wrap one like this
    Quote:
    <div style=”display:block;float:left;margin: 5px 5px 5px 5px;”> 'adsense code 1' </div>

    and the second like this

    Quote:
    <div style=”display:block;float:right;margin: 5px 5px 5px 5px;”> 'adsense code 1' </div>

But unfortunately I don't know anything about codes.
Where in elegant-box theme do I have to put that code, please?
    Thank you

Is it ok with Google to have two ad sense block side by side? I thought I had read somewhere where it was against the TOS, but I am not an adsense expert.

No there is no problem with this, as long as you don't exceed the limit of 3 ad units per page.

What happens on most wp blogs is that a lot of the posts will show up on the homepage with all of the ads units showing, so there's like 10 units that shows. Is this a problem with Google?

Apply it to single post only. In index you could place it BEFORE the content loop

Since last two hours I was searching the code to place two adsense units one 336X280 text ad unit and another 250X250 image ad unit side by side in my Earn Money Online blog. Thanks for Saqib, the above quated text perfectly works for my blog. Do not alter any thing and do not add any thing other than two separate ad units you get from Google. Just replace "adsense code 1 with the first ad unit code you get from Google and replace "adsense code 2" with the another ad unit code you get from Google. Thats all.

It depends on which part you want the ads show on your blog, if you want it show right below the title, login in your blog → theme → editor → header, then add the code in, preview the result and adjust code position.

legal, I use it the same way.

    also a tip i learned.

I make one unit Images Only"Usually the first one", the the second unit Text only "make sure you keyword have enought image ads being shown first"

that way it looks like an Image, with Text to the side of it, and keep duplicate ads from showing.

    example:

    ad sample.jpg

    Just a tip I use

I made it by putting two ad codes near by near without adding any extra codes to it
