I'm new to CJ and so far I have 1,133 clicks and $0 commission earned. I've been promoting different products and using adwords only. How is it that I have 1,133 clicks and not a single sale?
are you sure your ad code is right? id go back and re do it and make sure that your useing the right code for each page you have specified. but you can go alot with out a sale too, 1,133 isnt alot.. but double check ur ad codes and all.
I tend to think that the ad you are using to drive visitors to your site might not be accurate if you had that many hits and 0 sales. Take a look at that from an objective point of view and see if you can see any error there. A little tip for you... when I use PPC, I make sure that the ad is not even remotely misleading, I wan the clicker to know I expect them to buy the product or service I am offering. I'd rather they not visit my site if they are not going to purchase. So when placing ads, say to yourself "Would I click this ad and if so would I be expecting to buy?" It'll save you some money and actually make you money.
your code is correct other wise you would not see any clicks, most likely this is not your issue. If you are bring the merchant targeted traffic and they do NOT convert time to makes changes and see which merchant will convert. Try mixing up your merchants. Make new ads, heres a tip too. When you are dealing with adwords make display ads and lower you cpc, most likely you are paying to much per click, I Never never pay more then .05 per click even when google says The first page bid is $1.5 million dollars I still get plenty of clicks. You key is display ads!!!
Maybe your traffic is not good targeted. We are advertiser and we had few partners with huge number of clicks with nearly no sales. On the other hand we have partners with small traffic, but over 30% conversion rate (we are in jewelry business)
if you bid on free blogs and try to sell wash machine, you won't get a single sale. Depends on what keywords you bid.
Really? Then why the heck am I paying 1.5 million per click? Dang-it! Sure glad I saw this post cause I've certainly been paying too much for my damn clicks!
So you're the guy paying 1.5 million, longblog. I was wondering who it was but I should have know it was one of you rich guys in CA. Us poor folks in the South have to go the poor man's route and pay the nickle and hope.
Yes this kind of things are possibles, perhaps you didn´t target your ppc campaign or they are shaving like crazy.
