You fill in your adsense PUB id at your User CP and then sometimes your ads will show on DP in threads you participate in. I filled my id in yesterday and made a nice $0,01 from 0 clicks

we will never know that, because he cant see what he is earning (giving away) through DP, since it isnt his PUB id...
I think what he was trying to say is that it is easy to donate when the earnings from DP is relatively insignificant, but when it is substantial, it might be a diffrenet thing altogether. Lets not forget, Warren Buffet has given away 85% of his wealth, and we are not talking about a few dollars here.
