I find it hard to justify keeping it illegal.

As a citizen of the United States (no im NOT a terrorist), I would say: YES. Legalize it!

Now let me make something clear, I absolutely HATE Marijuana..I hate the sh*@$ ... I never liked it and I will never consume it again

But on the other hand, this country was founded on the freedom to pursue happiness, so long as your happiness does not inflict harm on a third party it should be legal -- much like alcohol is legal... and is regulated to where if a third party is involved consequences are received

BUT HERES THE THING ABOUT ALCOHOL

Theres are more alcohol related deaths than there are marijuana related deaths...YOU SIMPLY CANNOT POSSIBLY OVERDOSE ON MARIJUANA

    Does that make it right?

Who cares if its what makes you happy as a citizen? In fact, George Washington grew marijuana on his farm and promoted it's growth to all Americans!!

So I guess the 1st president was a terrorist?

This is a very controversial subject by all parties, but when you ban drugs you create a black market..and when you create a black market, you create violence

So..In all fairness, heres a video to counter yours :)

Yes. It should be legal since it used to be how we payed our taxes, until the Mexicans started bringing in the flower to the USA. Not racist at all, its what happened. They made up stories about how one went crazy and killed someone from marijuana.

The government tricked us. The truth is, it's way more useful (and plentiful) than almost everything out there including oil. Hemp pwns corn. But money talks.

Well it is kind of hard to say yes or no, because all we know marijuana can be useful for some sick people who has terrible pains and it can relief this to them, on the other hand it is destroying young lives around the world.

As with all victimless crimes, marijuana should absolutely be legal.

your way off you have to be a true retrd to OD on Marijuana it is simply impossible.

Marijuana should definetly be legal it would bring in a huge tax revenue and there would be less violence and people would simply be allot more fun to be around

On the contrary, banning the drug might create a lot of black market undertaking .....
This may not only spoil the peace around but also affect the economy of the country !!:eek:

I would agree with that, but only if a good portion of the tax money goes to related expenses. Such as marijuana facts and education classes or health care cost for cronic smokers, etc, Not to fund unrelated projects.

I think it doesn't matter. Addicts will take it whether it's legal or not.
