I had a really great time and that was not the first time i had clouds touching my face as its common in northern areas here and that is why i love to go there again and again Awesome natural beauty
sweet! get it while you can you never know how long you'll be there to visit it ;-) Tks., we're going tonight, might be after sunset but maybe there will be some clouds this time! love the SV's! --------------------------------------- In Dust Tree The arc in the center is a shopping plaza, "Super HEB" - the biggest grocery chain here in this area. It's like a super Wal-mart but it doesn't suck! SBT (Side Bar Tangent): For one thing Wal-mart has the absolute worst selection of groceries and quite often the most horrid of produce and dairy dates this side of your local 7-11. The industry, not sure what the 6 large building are below the HEB, looks like a big office complex or maybe a big company. The next 3 pics are from da hood! Our neighborhood (sub-division) including an elementary school. *Ahhh damn, next time i won't ask you to come visit me: i'll just drop a big map.* Timm, love the pictures! And i really love the way you guys (US) have a good sense of display the houses, streets etc. Over here its a huge mess.
a map to lure the buffalo! Texas being so huge, they have lots of land (considering other states or parts of the world) to really lay down neighborhoods (they call them sub divisions). the trade off of course is that it's kind of repetitive...every house looks the same (sorta) BUT it's also VERY economical in terms of housing prices compared to the rest of the nation. our house in CA would be worth $1-3million depending on location. Most houses in this area are 120-300K. it's sweet. you take off so slow compared to a commercial jet that you don't even notice lifting off the ground! Man, that runway looks really short though no, almost did once but my friends bailed on me! beats google street view
Lake Pflugerville, FBC Pflugerville, and I-35 Aerial Photos Lake Pflugerville is obviously a man made lake, I think it was completed a few years ago. I never realized it until just now – it looks like a big question mark! A nice shot of the church @ 10th St & Pecan. And trust me when I say that it is bigger than it looks! I think I already mentioned that I had to stand across the street in order to fit it in my frame on another set of pics I took. I35 looking north…from where I am not sure :-p Somewhere in Round Rock, Texas :-D
F4/3200ISO/No Light! Not ideal shooting conditions by any stretch! The idea was to get some shots of the church right when the sun was going down but before it was too dark….we never did hit it right! As you’ll see in the 3rd shot, the lights were not on! This happened to us 2/3 times we went up…FAIL! 45 Toll Road aka MoPac aka Route 1….Texas law states that roads must have at LEAST 2 names….this one has 3!! Told you the runway was short!!! The lights aren’t on (not all of them!) and no one is home!! New shopping center in Pflugerville, 45/130/685 intersection

we're trying to conserve the energies (if only) yeah, the runway - we only use about 1/2 of it! maybe not even half but looking at it you get the "that's it???" feeling for sure thanks! the world view maps @ night are awesome...saw one on Stumble one time...killer cool. yeah! niagara falls we should be there in July, I hope to get AMPLE pics of that day & night!! It'll be wicked, one day with fam, one day on my own to take pics

wow, that is a beauty for sure. it must have been taken from a helicopter? I need to get crackin on the OL research though, try to find out where the best spots are to take pics of it cool. I need to ask again what kind of plane his is...all I remember was that it was OLD! Forget how many hours it had on it though maybe only 300
