Hi Guys, Not sure if I have posted in the right area, but I could really do with your opinions and suggestions. I'm building a membership website, which will allow downloads of documents for members on sub domain "members.mydomain.co.uk". I have the membership engine sorted out (create accounts, take monthly payments etc) and I will have a sales type landing page on the main domain mydomain.co.uk to signup. Where I am struggling is the members area itself. I want to offer downloads once members are inside, but don't want to use a shopping cart style site with a checkout. I have downloaded joomla, but apart from publishing content I can't see anyway of allowing dowloadable access to hundreds of files and allow me to easily upload new documents each month. The only option I can see at the moment is to create nasty looking folders where I can dump all the documents in. Any ideas? Kindest regards, James
I use http://www.easymemberpro.com/ for one of my membershipsite. It's very easy to use from the get go even for newbies. - Dynashox -

I think drupal will be more suited for your needs. There are many open source plugins for drupal.... Joomla it is always paid ones. I suggest you head over to drupal forums and contact them
