Dictionary word .org or .net - valuable?

Hi people, I came across a dictionary word .org and .net that's still available and I'm wondering if I should buy them. Just wondering. The domain itself is a word + "ment" (eg. amusement, amazement) - Is it worth any good value? :D

Look at the .net and .com to see if they are developed or being used. Then determine how you can monetize the domain prior to buying it, it's really not that hard to see if it's worth to buy.

Run some searches on Google, Google Keyword analyser, Adwords cost estimator to see if there is commercial (or consumer) interest in the term (without the -ment, if need be)...

Unless your budget is extremely tight, you can't go wrong with a dictionary .org (yes, we hold many, and feel they are well worth it - for investment and/or revenue)

    My $0.02 :)

Its depend on how you gonna use the domain for.
If its keyword rich then you should buy it.
But if the domain is too long exceed 6 alphabhate then i suggest you ignore it coz it hard to memorize by visitor.

Since we're talking about $25 for both domains through GoDaddy, I'd go for it.
If you sell just one on Sedo.com for $xxx then you're in with massive ROI.
If you find there's little to no interest, post them on DP for $xx and at least get your money back, maybe better.

Absolute worst case scenario, 1 year from now you let them both expire and you "wasted" $25.
I spent more on lunch today. ;)

How about long word dictionary .com words? Are there any value in those words even if the overall search for them is low?

I think you should; you know, $9 is not a lot so that it means a lot of risk.

There still are several dictionary .orgs abatement.org, abashment.org when i did a quick scan.. Unless the dictionary word means something that can be monetised, it is quite useless.. It is as good as a .us or .mobi
