Need help - My conversion rate sucks

I just ran a CB report for hops during the last 30 days.

I have 2,891 hops and only 2 sales.

I am promoting several different products.

Can anyone give me any advice?

2,318 of those hops full under "no tracking code", oddly enough.

    Yes,

I have 8,000 hops and no sales at one point last year.

Two of the products I am promoting are in my signature.

    ouch!
thats lots of hops, but very low conversion.

first tell us how do you use to marketing for the products?
is it bum marketing methos or paid adversitzing?

I suggest first you do a proper product research, see how many searches are done over 1 month and how many competitors are there. Then do some basic SEO such as Title, meta tags and anchor text for the keywords that you done research about. Then write some good quality articles with some keyword density and submit to article directories, also participate in forums and blogs of the niche to create backlinks. If you follow this instruction I am sure that you can fairly succed in affiliate marketing.

And remember to keep track of your journy (meaning create a tracking code to each product to where the traffic is coming from).

plus there are lods of tips and tricks on this forum, all the things that I just said you can find each topic if you do a search on this forum.

    hope this helps!
    good luck

I can send 100,000 hops and no sales with low quality trash traffic... Focus on targeted visitors and presell copies. Once you convince the visitor that the product they're searching for is good, they'll buy it.

    This is very good advice.

Where do you go to find out what people are searching for?

Google trends is the only thing I can think of.

    Thanks?

It is proved that it converts bad, even 0.

Why not change some other products.

Don't drive trash traffic to your products. Bring high quality traffic.

    Hi simplyjo,

    We use these 2 methods.

PPC is most dynamic, you can decide when to start and when not. For example it is holiday now, people will have more time to surf the internet, then it is time to start PPC.

Do SEO for articles. It takes time, but it would give you with amazing results.

Those "no tracking code" hops could be robots following your hop url without the tid.
