Hi people I want to see the pages cached by google for a certain website. Using "site:example.com" however this also returns sub domain results like forum.example.com; blog.example.com how can I avoid this?
to answer you question just use [ site: www. example. com ] go with www . site: www. example. com site: example. com <-- this include all site: sub. example. com above are all different results
going with www. is not quiet the right way. Let take wordpress.org for example. site:wordpress.org returns 517 000 indexed pages, but this includes sub domains. site:www.site:wordpress.org only returns 92 pages and there should be definitely more then that in the wordpress.org main domain.
Having tried a few different test, I think I agree with you. KinkyJoe and Hugeforum your suggestions do not work ... test them with wordpress.org
