Having seen the demo of Windows 7, I must say I am fairly satisfied with its speed and performance.

I do intend to buy it, but only after having seen its stability over a little longer period.

    Regards,

Well, i will go ahead and buy it, because as far as reviews concern regarding Windows 7 beta release, its sounds a pretty stable release after XP [Vista was a total flop show], And about downloading from warez im totally against it, because you never know which keylogger, spyware, regestry editor is injected in it, and thats the reason why people get their systems hacked.

I have used windows Vista but I am not satisfied with it. As far as about the above question it is better to pay heavily once than to bear the headache. I am going to buy a laptop for me and I will see that it should have a genuine copy of Windows 7 in it. If I am unable to get it then I think that I should puchase it rather getting a crack version.

I am using windows 7 RC since it released, and so far it impressed me a lot by its performance and speed, but no less visual look than vista, i mean it is simply great.

Definitely I am planning to buy it in future.

Microsoft will not be supporting Windows 7 and has actually started work on Windows 8. For all of y'all whose waiting for Windows 7, sorry but it will not push through.

I will only buy it after 2 years once all bugs are gone and people talk good about it. Starting from Windows 3.1 till today, that's what I experienced. Buying beta or even any next release is just the pain till you wait 2 years :)

Microsoft is dying? So who is paying for the $1 billion building that just went up at the Redmond campus? Your post is so absurd it doesn't deserve a response.

I'd like to see every one of you third-world software thieves in jail.

Then why did you respond? Your sheer ignorance annoys me, but it's okay I wouldn't expect a kid to understand economics.

Good, let us know where you work, so that we make sure that we don't support the company that pays your salary.

I have no patience for people that feel righteous in stiffing people, yet use the product.

How the hell do you think they get paid ? From sales of product. Do you think Microsoft just prints worthless paper money to pay their employees with, and are just acting as part of some generous community service program?

It pays to have genuine software. I'll probably buy OEM because Retail, if I were to compute it, would be much higher. Anyway, I will wait until this version will be free of bugs (which might take quite some time) but I'm sure this release is much, much better than Vista.

I will wait until XP is no longer supported with device drivers or software companies, and then I will buy windows 7. But it will probably be the OEM version, and not the boxed.

But then again, I'am getting a little tired of building my own computers. I have never had a brand name computer, so I might just buy a new computer with windows 7.
