wow this is a tough one. can i pick just three wondrous creations of god? There are so many perfectly designed things to chose from.

1. Aids. It's great that our loving god would create such a terrible disease and engineer it in a way as to mostly effect those living in abject poverty. What a creation!

2. loa loa. You might not have heard of this wondrous creation, and will probably hope you never meet it. Our loving god designed/created a worm whose only purpose is to burrow in to the eyeballs of humans causing enormous pain. thanks god!

3. Cancer. isn't it a wondrous creation of our loving god to make it so cells sometimes forget what they are supposed to be and continue to divide. I'm not talking about regular cancer, i'm talking about childhood cancer. Every time i see a frail young 3 year old riddled with leukemia i can't help but wonder at the majesty of god creation. what a design that is!

Oh, sorry.. were we just supposed to pick the nice stuff and forget about all the terrible things?

I'm surprised you don't think that god loves Red Giants as well, simply because A Red Giant will be (the latest possible) end of life on earth
