Here's the thing if your worried about your Google Adsense account then you don't know how to properly use traffic exchanges, and your missing out on one of the best ways to build your list if you promote affiliate programs, home business opportunities, traffic building, and list building products. For those who don't understand that and take the time to learn how to use traffic exchanges, they will forever be missing out on a very targeted and useful resource.
good article and to those that think manual exchanges do not work I have Used the 3 top exchanges and in less then 6 days have risen a website from little traffic with no visitors to 600 active users increased alexa by 800% per day and 1000 uniques a day it takes work and giving away the right product average user time on site 2.8mins so is this garbage traffic? lol
Well, it's a good and very interesting article. However, peole in TE are - for the greatest part of them - freebie seekers, am I right... wrong? I remember the time I used TE's, I got a lot of sign up to my squeeze page but only one sale I think in several months. Until I decide to stop everything with TE's.
You either were promoting the wrong type of product or not using the top exchanges I have already made sales.
As usual it depends on how you do it... Most of the time it is a waste of time.. but not always. What if you find someone who targets the same market and brings in a lot of traffic ....
thats ok by me as they dont know our full campaign details like whether to use text banner or general site it's easy to get untargted traffic but it's also easy to get highly targted traffic and if they offer the same as they would promoting our site anyway
traffic exchanges are good for certain things like i use traffic exchanges to promote my free e-book and i do get a few downloads from them, dont promote your website with them it has adsense, its illegal in the google world lol.
