Google Monopoly on Adsense

    Hello All :(

I was working on development/promotion of a brand new website which is my personal website.

While developing this website, I applied for adsense account and they approved my account. My optimization was also going in full swing, and I had started to receive 20-30 clicks/day from queries made on Google.

However, few days ago I received an email, that my website is a "Threat to Google Adsense Network" and they simply blocked my account. They also said that there was fake click activity on my website, but as per my knowledge, I am the only person working on the site since its a Brand new website.

Since the inception of my website, I have never clicked on any of the adsense accounts. Even after that Google blocked adsense account without any reason.

Do let me know if any of you has faced such problems with Google Adsense.

If you do a search on the forum, you will see lots of others with the same problem. My advice is move on, forget about adsense. Use other methods to monetize your site.

Most people complaining the same issue. But generally Google will not ban you for no reason. Sometimes any other person the same network make have visit your site. Or any other competitor may try to sabotage your business. First find out the reason and write to Google. They will reinstall your account if reason is valid.

If you are really honest about no fraud clicks from your end, then you may try your luck and write to google pleading innocence....but I doubt they would reverse their decision so easily!

Fraud clicks is a huge problem for adsense and at times, some innocent people do get to face the wrong end of the stick! :(

It was a brand new website, but with lots of good content which was pulling visitors around 10-20/Day.

However, I had recently removed Google adwords script from the site, which could be one of the reason why Google Blocked Adsense.

It is a complete monopoly on the part of Google. I have right to choose which analytic I want to use and which one not too.

I have read several threads where webmasters have complained about same thing. It looks like Google has found new businesss of coming out of heat of recession. They will get payment from the advertisers, and will ultimately block your adsense account without mentioning anything.

Look at the way these guys have been doing with Google adwords. They have added a new interface which doesnt open up in Firefox and these stupid guys ask you to install Internet Explorer OR CHROME in order to view adwords properly.

Google should realise its mistake and it will cost him dearly in the next few years. :(

I am the only person working on it right now. Therefore there is no question of anyone clicking on my ads. I have never even once clicked any of the ads.

What does monopoly have to do with anything? Google doesn't have monopol on ppc. Use adbrite or bidvertiser. The more people use them, the more you earn. But all ppc more or less have the same problems with invalid clicks and many people get accounts suspended.

There are a lot of ppc/cpm networks out there. Only because google pay good, doesn't mean they got monopol.

It may happen that you have high click to ad appear ratio. It's many times consider as scam. Google also may notice that you are receiving clicks from same geo location.

They don't have a monopoly on adsense, they own it; there's a difference. You could claim they have a monopoly on ppc ads (which they don't), but not on adsense since it's their product.

My fiance had her account rejected when she initially applied due to excessive outgoing links and redirects. Google really hates redirect since they generally think you're being underhanded if you're redirecting someone. ALL of CJ.com's banner ads are redirects. If you have a lot of cj.com ads on your site then you should remove some and re-apply. My fiance removed hers, re-applied and was approved in a day or two. I know this isn't quite the same, but it might shed some light on the issue.

If you're running heavy affiliate marketing ads on your site, you should remove them and then appeal to google. Despite what you've read to the contrary, google is fair and will consider your case. I've read about many bloggers who've been banned and managed to get their accounts re-instated after the 1st-3rd email. Don't give up, fix the possible problems, and you'll get your account back.

Google is generally pretty fair. Appeal it if you feel there has been some kind of mistake. You will probably have to wait a few weeks for any actions though.

Just read the presentation from Google that they pay Adsense last year $5.2 Billion . That's huge business.

Once banned, the chance of getting back your account is very slim. Maybe it's time for you to think about other network, such as adbrite and bidvertiser.

this is very maddening and what's more there is no independent review service to which you can take your complaint. It could be that you inadvertently breached Google TOS in some other way rather than just fraudulent clicks. But the reality is that you will never know, try bidvertiser.com instead or adbrite or alternative go for other options like commission junction. All the best for the future
