Domain Registration address issue

    Hey Folks

    i have purchased a domain before 8 months and that time i was living in USA but now i have moved from there so i am bit confused in changing my Mailing address.

    Can any one help me to solve this issue? Can i change my Registration address??

    Or will it be fine if i do not change it ?

    To change the mail address, you just need to login to your domain registration control panel. Keeping WHOIS contact information updat to date is the rule set by ICANN. Hence, you should update the address.

    I think you should update the contact information and if you don't want to show your contact information make the domain name private.

    What is the domain extension? .com/.net have no residency/citizenship requirements but .us domains do.

    You can update/change the mailing address of your domain name by login to your domain registration control panel. If you do not have the login details to login then you may also contact the registrar where your domain name is registered.

    You should change your address to the new address.
    This must be done to prevent any problem may arise due to the address is different such as change of domain ownership.
