Alright, now I know that there are thousands of people looking to get on the first page of google. It's not that difficult really. Here are some tips. Choose a keyword (I suggest that you stick with one for now) Buy a domain name with your keyword in it... Optimize your site with the best keyword density. I suggest that youy keep it in between 2%-3% Include your keyword in the between <title></title> <h1></h1> <h2></h2> description, keywords etc... Submit yout site to google (obviously), msn and yahoo and work on those frickin backlinks!! Now I know that a lot of you get stuck in this part... Some of you get stuck because they simply do not have a list of high PR sites while others get stuck because they're too lazy too work :/... As for me I bought a list and I submit to each and every one of its sites everytime I create a new site... here's a few of em http://www.propeller.com/ http://www.stumbleupon.com/ http://www.reddit.com/ http://www.blinklist.com/ http://www.mister-wong.de/ http://www.mixx.com/ http://www.mybloglog.com/ http://www.newsvine.com/ http://www.furl.net/ http://www.folkd.com/ http://www.foxiewire.com/ http://www.kaboodle.com/ http://www.netvouz.com/
Thanks for offering. The question is what kind of sites are these? When it comes to link-building, I strongly believe in relevancy as the first priority. Secondly, submitting to search engines is unnecessary, it is to be substituted by the "frikin link building" straight away.
Not really, I was going to tell you where you can find big lists for cheap... Anyway forget it... I included some of them in the original thread... GL finding others
No I don't consider myself as a professional but I do know how to get on top of a search engine like google...
Good way for promoting yourself but i do not think so it will be more beneficial to you. So better provide some of your work and share more knowledge so it will help you have a nice time
It isn't completely necessary to submit your website to Google, if you use your keywords and go straight to obtaining back links, you will get picked up by Google fairly quickly.
Yeah but submtting your site to google will only take about 20 seconds... so what do you have to lose lol
20 seconds that could be saved since Google will index your website on it's own But my main point was that gaining back links first, proves to be the most effective.
SEO has alot to do with skills, you can have thousand of backlinks and not still rank no1 on google. everything is not always backlinks.
Lol Oh that one hah... forget I even had it there. No that's just a sideshow I don't even use it anymore, did you really think that that's my main website? lofl I did not try to get on the first page with that website because I was promoting it by other means. Anyway, I just posted this thread to help lol not to say how good I am in SEO. He asked me if I'm a SEO expert and I said NO, but yes I do know how to get on google's first page. As I said earlier it's not that difficult, most people know it but they are just too lazy to get there :/ All you need to do is set your keywords and work on those backlinks. Of course there are a bunch of other factors such as content (uploading new content will help your ranking) and others, but backlinks and keywords are the main thing in my opinion. Hope that helps
1. Choose a relevant keywords, don't target "used cars" if your dealership is in Miami. If you already have some experience try "Used Cars Miami" if you don't, start with your specific location "Coral Gables Used Cars" and once you understand how it works than try "Miami" 2. Agreed, but not necessary if know what you are doing. 3. Keyword density is overrated. Forget about keyword density, make sure you include the keywords in the title, a couple of times in the content and in the in site links to that page. Learn LSI. 4. Agreed, but don't over do it. One h1 for each page, a couple of of H2, if they make sense, and so on. Extremely important the keywords in the <title>. 5. Submitting is a technique that has been dead for years now. Build relevant and quality back links and the spiders will come on their own. Don't expect the get indexed by submitting you site alone. 6. Social Bookmarking works to get indexed and for non competitive keywords. Don't think that you'll ever rank for any "big" keyword just by bookmarking you site. In SEO there are hundreds of aspects to take into consideration, the above list is just a REALLY BASIC idea of what to do. If you really want to rank learn proper on site optimization, how to create a proper hierarchy, how to properly structure you website, the importance of in site links, etc. Once your site is ready learn how to build relevant back links from different sources.
Below is a few sites with lists of free web directories some with good pr, only submit to the ones with PR3+. http://www.whenweseo.com/web_directories/free_directories.jsp http://www.strongestlinks.com/directories.php http://www.seomanualsubmission.com/directories-list.php
From my experiences I would say the most important part are the keywords of your backlinks. This is more important than the topic of the site where you get your backlink.
Thanks for the tips, but I guess you shouldn't say that you're helping us to get on Google's first page. There's other aspect which plays far more better role on ranking.
