Does your standard charted Debit card work with paypal (India)

I just tried to use my standard charted ShopeSmart debit card with paypal, but paypal can not verify it.

I am wondering if it is working for any one else.

Does a debit card issued by any banks in india works with paypal.

 

My friend, no debit cards from INDIA work on paypal.

Dont get any credit cards from Citibank and ICICI, both of them sucks
My friend had a credit card from ICICI, one day his card got stolen.

He reported complaint in ICICI, it tool 2 days for credit card inactivation
But unfortunately some 1 had already made payment of Rs. 26,000/-

i don't think so. i have a paypal account and its a non-verified account.
but still i could able to add funds to my debit card for my savings account.
i am using my sbi savings account....

I have linked my SBI bank account.

You said, you are also having SBI with paypal, is what work well ?
How much time it takes to receive funds one they are withdrawn from website

I used my mother's ICICI cc when i first verified my PayPal account.

Indian debit cards CANNOT be used to verify PayPal accounts. You need to have a CC. Same with adding funds to your PayPal, you cannot add it TO paypal with your debit card.

However, it works the other way around. You can transfer funds from PayPal to Indian bank accounts and by extension, Debit Cards. I am on SBI, the best bank here IMO.

 

When adding a credit card, is it necessary that the billing address must be exactly same as the billing address of CC and must match character by character.

In india, its impossible to verify PP with debit cards

 

only cc is used fr verifying

 

No Debit card would work to verify paypal, imo.
I have tried couple of them, which i own.

None Worked.

Yes I could able to transfer funds to SBI from paypal.
But I dont think you can add funds to paypal from SBI.

 

Debit card from india cannot be used for verfying paypal account !!
