I'm sick of being poor.

I'm 19 years old and I love business. The thing is, I can't think of anything to do. My parents could back me up with stuff online, I guess. Should I get into something like wholesale? What should I do?

    Any suggestions would be appreciated!

It looks like the site you've developed (I took a look) is already very well developed.

Aren't you happy with the jewelery business?

When you say you "can't think of anything to do" - do you mean aside from the ecommerce site you've already established?

ly2 - the poster is a child relying on his parents to support him.
You can't retire until you've done something.

I retired and now you tell me I should have done something first!!!!
    LOL

Really, now that I am retired, I wonder why I bothered working all my life.
I should have retired at 20 and let my first wife support me.

Get into the info business. No stock, no physical shipping, customer gets instant gratification with automatic downloads, etc. Very little overhead as well (hosting account and time is all it takes) Big money being made with affiliate and information distribution.

Oh I'm sure he has done something in the 19 years he has been alive. Why waste so much time working? Just ask mom and dad to add you to the checking account and kick back!

    P.S. </sarcasm>

If everything else fails, you can always stalk Warren Buffett and peddle him a charity project. He will throw you some of his crumbs (i..e $Millions) and you can retire as youngest Charity Foundation chief.

Well don't get sick of being poor. Bcoz you have parents and knowledge to develop a site and post on forums.

I have seen people in more trouble then you are in. If at 19 you are getting sick or tired then there are many surprises waiting for you in your life. What will you do then?

Also if for example you have a 1 million target and it is say somehow done. Then what will you do?

Believe me friend this is just useless talk about retiring. I had set my targets in 2001. DID Visual Basic 6.0 :D hehe Nothing from it.

Then I tried my luck in MCP (Nothing from it)
2003 - MCSD (Same as before. Worked my ass off but got nothing)
Even started MCA. (Left it in 2005. And wasted fees which my father paid for me)
MCDBA - (Nothing from it too)

Then August 2005. PHP/MySQL - Developed first website. Sold first product. And decided I will sell that products copy for 5000 times and I am rich :D And google did a big time update in that period of time, my site went in sandbox. And no traffic nor any sales.

Then went in domaining where there were already many players with better names then me.

Did freelancing jobs on scriptlance. To buy new domains.

And at last in Feb 2006 I got my first big sale.

Still I am working. Exchanging links and developing new projects. I am still running after each dollar that comes my way.

Bcoz who knows may be in some time PHP/MySQL will also settle down. If it happens then again I am automatically retired. ;)

You're only 19. You still probably live with your parents. Until you're out there trying to support yourself and not living under their roof, you have no idea what "poor" is. So first of all, stop whining and be more appreciative of what you do have. Second, go get yourself an education that's going to serve you well for the rest of your life, rather than thinking along the lines of "right now". The long run is infinitely more important. And anything you could do online for quick money with no education... guess what... anyone else could too. Build an expertise, so even if things don't work out on your own, you'll have something to fall back on. Money will come in time, trust me. Now do something to give people a reason to want to hire you... and an "I want money," attitude just isn't going to cut it.

    Good advice jhmattern.
If you are 19, I would suggest you to enroll in a university or college and get an education. You can worry about getting rich after you complete your degree.
