Fresh Domain vs Old Domain

    I'm not a SEO expert and I was wondering if which is better to buy a new domain or get an old domain with or without PR

    what are the benefits of it

    For me buy a new domain coz its fresh and its fun to build link from zero to many.
    The benefit of fresh domain is its spam free.
    While the benefit of old domain is its have a lot of backlink.
