Hello I'm new to this forum and i'm interested in buying and selling domains. I have done some research on this topic and this looks like a good forum to network. So my question is where do you guys recommend for selling domains?

if you have a good domain with good traffic you can sell it... but nothing is that easy I've got a domain to sell but to find a buyer its not that easy ... even domain parking although i think sedo is the best

For me the best place to sell domain names is eBay; The Sales are Not Significantly High, But you can Make $10K a month when selling volume. I actually just wrote a book about how to do it, DomainAuctionProfit.com

The problem with Sedo and the other auction giants, you get lost in the crowd, unless you are sitting on a huge one word generic, your domain names rarely sell.. agreed?

Sedo is probably the best out there, but the selling policies are too restrictive, IMHO

No one has mentioned that there is an area on this forum that allows you to sell sites and/or domains. Dont we know or is there some problem with using this forum for that purpose? I was planning on using it myself, are you all going to advise me against it?

There is really no "best place" to sell domain names. There are tons of methods available for us to sell, but it really comes down to the domain names you are selling, if you have great domain names, people will buy them, even in this down economy.. I think the "most famous" site is "sedo".

It's not that easy these days, in fact this forum is probably one of the better places.

Best is where you can find an end user. Selling to other domainers is like "wholesale" and selling to someone who wants the name for their site is like "retail."

Have people had any issues buying and selling on these sites, like people not paying or scamming?

I recently sold one of my sites to PokerListings.com for a nice chunk of change.

We used www.escrow.com and everything went smoothly.

The best place to sell domains are forums like dp, sitepoint and dnforum. In domain auction websites, you may need to use featured listing of your domain name that costs some money. Free listing there does not help anything.
