Is Overstock On CJ a Good Opportunity?

Now that Overstock is on CJ I wonder if the experts here think Overstock represents a good affiliate opportunity? Which categories succeed and which fail?. Does anyone have a source for data on Overstock penetration of various market segments. Where are they strong and where are they weak?

They are good, but nowhere as good as Amazon. I've been affiliated with them on Linkshare for quite some time now.

This is good opportunity. You need to be diligent to research the profitable keywords on the search engines in making money online.

I am an EPN affiliate so I assume the same approach applies. I am looking for market data on Overstock to understand where they are strong. As an example eBay is big in collectibles and don't think Overstock would do so well there.

The exact same thing happened to me, are they not going to be on Linkshare anymore, or will they be on both cj and linkshare?

Overstock will be just based on CJ.com.

The thing is with Overstock, if you are applying for their program you have to show them a website which has very little other advertising on it. I know from speaking with them closely that if you submit sites full of eBay listings for example they will not approve you.

IMO Overstock is great if you don't build sites with pages full of listings (I don't usually do this anyway), but essentially content sites with affiliate links spread here and there do well. I have a few sites which promote just Overstock and they do relatively well....better than Amazon but not as good as eBay.
