How Difficult to Monetize a Forum?

    I am thinking of creating a small forum for website design & development, more focused towards programming and development. How difficult would it be to attract a lot of visitors, get users registered and start making money on it through either PPC, CPM, or selling ad space?

    I can help you monetize your site. I am making around 200$ a month with 2000+UV(90000+PV). If you are looking for quick money sell banner ads(rotating around 10) for 25$/week or something

    Getting 10 banner ads seems difficult though, especially for a beginning web forum. Not downing the idea, it is a good one. I'll look into it

    You should create your forum get it popular a bit, after then put the ad's on your forums.
