How do i make my own I-phone application and sell it?

Its something im looking at doing in the near future. Just wondering if anyone knows anyone who can make such an application and get it registered?

Any idea how much it costs to download? Also, does it work on a PC or only on Apple computers ? (have a feeling only for Apple)

 

The SDK only works on Apple. It's free and quite easy to develop on. You'll have to go through a few steps to get access to the App Store but it's not that difficult and only costs $99. Also, you should buy an iPhone just to alpha test your user experience. The SDK comes with a simulator - however, it's not the same as seeing your app on the actual phone itself.

Be careful of "outsourcing". You'll see how easy it is to develop on the iPhone platform - don't get ripped off.

i think anyone can code the application, you just need programming skills, the sdk and a mac

 

How long does it take to make a good game. And how long would it take to learn from scratch?

 

In case the idea of the game is outstanding and the game is simple - it can be done in a day, but of course you need some experience in development of such apps.
Outsourcing is not that bad as it's sometimes thought of. I'd advise you to try.
